Hello Fox Rockers!! First of all, thanks for listening to the world’s greatest f%^*$kin' rock station. We at The Fox know that we can’t do it without your support. That’s why I work as hard as I can behind the scenes to hook you up with the biggest, best, hardest rock shows and tons of other killer prizes to show our constant appreciation.

My radio career began back in the early 90s when I worked as a Radio/Television News Anchor/Reporter. I’m actually an award winning journalist but rock and heavy metal are in my blood and I couldn’t take the negative world of “bad news” so I started “Big Jon Snyder – Fox News” that aired every morning on The Fox…2 minutes of hard news spiked with my own personal commentary on the issues. It was controversial at best, but loved by you all because it was the funniest thing on the air.

That’s when I knew I belonged here, on “The Rock of Sonoma County”. Shortly thereafter I became the other voice in the morning and also became the Director of Promotions and weekend host of The Mosh Pit!! I’m stoked now being able to focus my attention on the entire radio station and its promotions.

If I didn’t work here, I’d still listen every day. I love hard rock music...the heavier the better. Many know me for being a guitar freak, growing up in the Easy Bay. I’ve jammed in many punk and heavy metal bands, having played around with members of Attitude Adjustment, Machinehead, Chaos and my favorite, Terminal Shock.

I never really had the patience for touring so living vicariously through the music on The Fox is my dream job come true. But I still get together with bruthas and jam. I also write slasher film scores to feed my craving for the axe.

Favorite bands we play on The Fox arev Slayer, Pantera, BLS, Metallica, Anthrax, Megadeth, Lamb Of God, AC/DC, Trivium, Slayer, Slipknot, AIC, Slayer, God Forbid and Iron Maiden!! Oh yeah....And Slayer too!!!
